Class Action Lawsuit Against ComForCare

JPI Law has filed a class action lawsuit in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County on behalf of individuals who were employed by ComForCare Senior Services in Allegheny County (“ComForCare”) as home health care workers at any time since February 7, 2015.  This lawsuit seeks to recover unpaid regular wages and overtime wages for employees who worked for ComForCare.

The law requires that you be paid your basic wage rate as well as overtime compensation for hours you work in excess of 40 hours per week, In the case now pending, for numerous pay periods ComForCare failed to pay the representative Plaintiff her full regular wage rate and overtime wages for work performed in excess of 40 in one week.  In total, ComForCare failed to pay the representative Plaintiff tens of thousands of dollars in wages over a period of several years.
