James A. Welker

Jim Welker has been an attorney with Jubelirer, Pass & Intrieri, P.C., since 1995. He has developed an extensive practice representing injured employees in workers’ compensation cases, and, since 2010, he has been recognized every year by The Best Lawyers in America in the area of workers’ compensation. Because of his widely recognized expertise in this area, Jim frequently lectures on the subject and has served as a chairperson of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section. Jim’s other practice areas include personal injury, social security disability and estate planning and administration.

Jim received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his law degree from the University of Dayton.

Jim was an all American tennis player in college and is a member of the Penn Hills Sports Hall of Fame. Outside of work, Jim performs community service as a member of Rotary International and enjoys golf, tennis, and fitness training.

He and his wife, Laurie, live in Seven Fields, PA.
